The Altruism of Squirrels?
August 18, 2010Curious new study out of Canada about red squirrel moms adopting orphaned squirrels they find in nearby trees.It seems it might be a continuation of selfish gene theory – these squirrels rescue the orphans of their sisters or cousins or second cousins.
