I remember reading Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point back in 2000 or 2001 and thinking rather humbly that I may not be an innovator but at least I was an early adopter. Ha! Fantastic news: a brilliant new film project has landed in Marseille and I am their English liaison. The plan is to make a Cities of Love movie. These are a series of films that gives celebrated directors and actors (think Coen brothers, Scarlett Johansson, Shia Labeouf, etc. etc.) a carte blance to make interconnected short movies that explore the notion of love within one city. There’s already been Paris, je t’aime, New York, I Love You, and Rio, Eu Te Amo. Berlin and Delhi are in production. And we are going to make Marseille, je t’aime. (more…)
